With more than 30 years of experience, Evan is one of the State’s most highly sought-after and respected litigators, primarily in commercial, business, intellectual property and tort-based disputes. Prior to joining Cameron Ringwood, he held positions as shareholder and senior litigator with several prominent local, regional and national firms.
Evan has tried more than 30 cases to jury verdicts and has conducted more than 100 bench trials, including many that have resulted in multi-million-dollar verdicts for his clients. He has successfully defended business clients against large claims in complex litigation exceeding $100 million. He has settled hundreds of cases with favorable outcomes, representing plaintiffs and defendants.
Evan has defended clients targeted by federal and state government enforcement agencies. He has experience in a wide variety of civil litigation fields, including breach of contract claims between businesses, partnership disputes, business torts, bank litigation, Direct Sale Marketing litigation, insurance coverage disputes, construction disputes, licensing, trade secret, trademark, and other intellectual property litigation, and securities fraud. Evan has experience with public condemnation claims, business/enterprise valuation claims, and shareholder derivative claims.
Evan’s litigation experience is useful in helping clients identify and protect themselves through corporate compliance strategies, protective contract strategies, licensing and trademark agreements, and in resolving disputes prior to litigation, including pre-litigation risk-of-loss analysis.
