Representative Cases
- Following a 7-day bench trial, obtained a Final Judgment and Permanent Injunction for clients, dismissing all counterclaims, together with an award of over $750,000 in attorneys’ fees relating to Co-Defendants misappropriation of trade secrets, interference, breaches of fiduciary duties, and other related claims.
- Following a 17-day bench trial primarily focused on defeating a $50 million counterclaim and extensive post-trial briefing, obtained Ruling and Judgment in favor of client (denying counterclaims, but effectuating an equitable walk away (i.e., with no findings of fault or contract liability)). After trial, assisted in successfully obtaining complete victory on appeal, which affirmed the trial court’s order.
- Successfully defended multi-million-dollar securities fraud and breach of contract claims against an international MLM company, culminating in a voluntary dismissal of all claims with prejudice against the client.
- Settled a significant subcontractor breach of contract dispute for a general contractor following lengthy discovery.
- Secured numerous injunctions and settlements regarding non-solicitation breaches and IP infringements.
- Obtained a partial summary judgment against an insurance company, determining the insurance defense obligation for the company over a pending million-dollar claim, which led to a favorable settlement.

Ms. Baum has experience in a range of complex commercial and civil litigation matters, including contract enforcement, employment issues, IP infringement, corporate ownership disputes, construction, appeals, and in other related matters. Ms. Baum has also worked with a variety of businesses in assessing and ensuring compliance with various statutes and regulations for a range of industries, including energy, health care, construction, multi-level marketing, and education.
Ms. Baum has also served as in-house counsel where she managed litigation and compliance matters for the company. During this time, Ms. Baum directed complex compliance initiatives and provided guidance on regulatory matters spanning from contracting, employment law, TCPA compliance, consumer protection law, insurance, and construction law issues throughout the country. Ms. Baum also oversaw a variety of litigation matters on behalf of the company.
